b12 Mavericks

b12 Mavericks is a recurring 2.5-month intensive programme in contemporary dance and performance art at b12 Berlin. A deep dive into movement research, creation, and performance practice with international artists and teachers. Two tracks of ~25 participants each work with different choreographers; all share the same classes and approximately 9 performance opportunities (studio and theatre). Welcomes dancers, actors, physical performers, singers, and anyone interested in cross-disciplinary work. Age 18+, no upper age limit. All instruction in English. Certificate and video recordings of performances provided on completion. Runs annually as part of the b12 summer season.
