About this opportunity
Circus Dance Practices #1 is a collaborative artistic research project between the BA Dance program at the Centre for Contemporary Dance (ZZT) of the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln and the CircusDanceFestival Cologne. This initiative explores the intersection of contemporary dance and circus arts, focusing on the relationship between body and object, as well as the balance between technical precision and playful experimentation. The project involves intensive practical sessions led by international artists, offering students the opportunity to engage in physical research, experimental methodologies, and the development of movement material through improvisation and choreographic processes.
Cost: Participation is free of charge.
Requirements: Open to students enrolled in the BA Dance program at the Centre for Contemporary Dance (ZZT) of the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln.
