Dancer Creative Contemporary Preparatory Programme

The Dancer Creative Contemporary is a two-year preparatory programme designed for ambitious dancers around the age of 14, aiming to pursue a professional dance career. Offered in collaboration with ROC Rijn IJssel, the course provides comprehensive training in various dance styles, including urban, classical, hip-hop, and composition. Students also engage in theory classes covering dance history, analysis, didactics, methodology, dance organisation, anatomy, nutrition, and entrepreneurial skills. Additionally, the programme includes Pilates and yoga to enhance physical well-being. In the second year, students undergo an audition to assess progression to ArtEZ's Dance Artist or Artisteducator in Dance programmes upon obtaining their MBO diploma.
