Overview

The Professional Training Program at FLIC Circus School in Turin is designed for young individuals aged 16 to 30. Established in 2002, this program focuses on the comprehensive training of students in contemporary circus arts. The curriculum emphasizes various teaching methodologies and aims to foster personal growth and satisfaction through a well-rounded educational experience. ### Curriculum The program provides a solid foundation in the fundamental subjects of contemporary circus, including physical preparation, ground acrobatics, trampoline, verticals, acrodance, classical and contemporary dance, circus acting, and theater. Students will also develop autonomous management skills through a set of project, relational, and organizational competencies, preparing them for a career in contemporary circus. ### Schedule Classes are held at the main venue located at Via Magenta 11, a historic building in the center of Turin, and at Spazio FLIC in Via Paganini 0/200. The training schedule runs from October to June, with practical classes taking place Monday to Friday from 8:45 AM to 4:45 PM. The total annual hours amount to approximately 1300 to 1400 hours. ### Cost The cost for the first year of the program is €3,300, which can be paid in two installments of €1,650 each. The same cost structure applies for the second year. ### Who it's for The program is aimed at individuals aged 16 to 30, with exceptions made at the discretion of the administration. Participation in the program requires a commitment of two years, with the first year focusing on skill improvement and the second year on artistic research and project development. ### Audition Auditions for the 2026-27 Circus Artist Training Course will take place in person in Turin from July 7 to July 10, 2026. The application deadline is June 15, 2026. Participation in the auditions is free, and candidates must be at least 16 years old.
