The Südkulturfonds supports non-commercial cultural projects in music, performing arts, visual arts, film, literature, and transdisciplinarity with artists from eligible countries. There are two types of funding: project-based funding (under 3,000 CHF) and programme funding (under 30,000 CHF). Applications for project-based funding can be submitted year-round, while programme funding applications are due annually by 1 February.
