Postgraduate (I.C.E. — International Choreographic Exchange) 2026/27

Overview

SEAD's postgraduate program — I.C.E. (International Choreographic Exchange) — is a one-year program for emerging choreographers who have completed a professional dance education and are ready to develop independent work within a supportive, mentored artistic environment.

• A year of residency to create your own choreographic work
• Access to dancers, rehearsal space and performance opportunities
• Feedback from a faculty of international dance professionals
• I.C.E. students present one stage performance and a site-specific choreography during the year

Eligibility

Open to SEAD graduates and applicants from outside SEAD who have successfully completed a professional dance program.

Dates

One-year program; the school year begins in mid-September and finishes at the end of June. Auditions for 2026 entry ran across Europe from 31 January, with the final round at SEAD in Salzburg on 18–22 May 2026.
