Overview

The Professional Course at Escuela de Circo Carampa is a two-year program designed for young individuals seeking a multidisciplinary and specific preparation for further academic training in higher circus schools or to start a professional career.

Curriculum

The course includes basic training in Dance, Acrobatics, Theater, Physical Preparation, and Safety Techniques, as well as specific training in Juggling, Aerial Techniques, and Balancing. Pedagogical training covers Teaching Pedagogy and Practice, while theoretical subjects include Circus History, Anatomy, Theater Theory, Dramaturgy, Production, and other supporting theoretical subjects.

Schedule

The program runs from October 2026 to May 2028, with classes held Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some variations depending on the trimester/month/day. Some activities and practices occur on weekends.

Cost

The total duration of the course is 2500 hours over two years, with 35 hours of training per week, amounting to 1150 hours per year.

First Call - June: Application deadline is Wednesday, June 10, 2026. Audition dates are from Tuesday, June 16 to Thursday, June 18, 2026, with results published on Friday, June 19, 2026.

Second Call - September: Only if spots remain unfilled after June. Application deadline is Monday, September 5, 2026. Audition dates are from Tuesday, September 8 to Thursday, September 10, 2026, with results published on Friday, September 11, 2026.
