Professional Dance Training – Dance in Art

About the Training

At Dance in Art (DiA), we offer three program routes, preparing students and dancers to enter the professional dance world. The daily training is on a high international level and designed for talented dancers seeking guidance, knowledge, experience, and inspiration. The program is customized to each dancer’s physical and emotional needs, with a maximum of 5 students per year.

Curriculum

• Route 1: Intensive Coaching Program
• Duration: 1 – 3 years
• Subjects include Ballet technique, Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT), Progressing Contemporary Technique (PCT), Pointe technique, Contemporary technique, and Improvisation.
• Qualification: DiA Certificate (after 3 years of training).

• Route 2: Research Oriented Studies
• Focus on Dance Research & Choreographic Research.
• Duration: 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year (full-time).
• Qualification: DiA Certificate (after 1 year of training).

• Route 3: Mentorship Program
• Tailored to individual artists with a focus on personal attention and development.

Schedule

• Coaching: 1 to 3 hours per week.
• Rehearsals: 3 to 9 hours per week (depending on performances).
• Film projects: Approximately 100 hours per project.
• Months: September – June.

Who it's for

Students aged 17 and older with extraordinary abilities in dance.

Audition

Applicants must fill out an application form, email a video audition (2-minute solo), and a motivation letter. For Choreographic Research, a research plan and references are also required.
