About this opportunity
Project subsidies are intended as financial support for initiatives in the arts sector that are limited in time and objectives, such as the creation and dissemination of a performance, temporary exhibition, concert tour abroad, lecture series, or publication. Projects can be both short- and long-term, with a maximum duration of 3 years.
Artists, art workers, and organizations professionally involved in the arts in Flanders can apply for a project subsidy. Organizations must be located in the Dutch-speaking region or the bilingual Brussels-Capital area. Art workers must initiate a project in collaboration with at least one artist professionally involved in the arts in Flanders. Applicants can be active in one or more disciplines, including architecture, visual arts, performing arts, music, and transdisciplinary arts.
Applications for project subsidies must be submitted by September 15 for projects starting in the first half of the following year (from January 1) and by March 15 for projects starting in the second half of the same year (from July 1). Specific deadlines for 2026 and 2027 are noted on the page.
