Residency Programme for Choreographers 2027/28

Overview

K3 | Tanzplan Hamburg (at Kampnagel) provides paid eight-month residencies to choreographers at the beginning of their careers who have already produced a few first works of their own.

What's provided

• A monthly stipend and a production budget
• Use of the K3 studios
• Mentoring, dramaturgical support and further qualification opportunities
• Coverage of travel expenses, assistance with visa applications, and possible accessibility costs

Eligibility

Open to applicants from all over the world — choreographers at the start of their career who have produced a few first works of their own.

Dates

There is no call for the 2026/27 season (a special programme marks K3's 20th anniversary that year). The next call is for 2027/28: applications close on Wednesday 12 August 2026 at 16:00 CEST, for an eight-month residency running from August 2027 to April 2028.
