About this opportunity
CONTINUED EDUCATION

Every workshop involves both left and right-brained approaches with generous amounts of hands-on experience in a small classroom setting. Anatomy and various ways to view the body as a functioning unit will be investigated depending on the specific course content. There will also be opportunities to explore the therapeutic “dialogue space” between therapist and patient through building palpation skills and expanding intuitive skills. Understanding anatomy and physiology is essential for building clarity in 3D anatomical visualization and treatment protocols.
ANATOMY & PHYSIOLOGY
INTEGRATED TREATMENT
PALPATION SKILLS
Foundations:
Palpation & Therapeutic Dialogue with a Global Approach to Fascia & Fluids
The primary focus of this class is to explore palpation and the heart-centered “therapeutic dialogue” process between therapist and patient. Each therapist works with a unique sensory “instrument.” Together we will explore our multiple senses, therapeutic intent, and how to develop and navigate intuitive impressions within a treatment. In this first workshop, we will explore the facial system from a global perspective and how it relates to the pressure balance systems and fluids in the body. There will be an introduction to the visceral work at the "digestive triangle." High mileage and integrative techniques will be learned through generous amounts of hands-on practice. Techniques from this workshop will improve systemic health through balancing the pressure systems of the body and improving fluid circulation and digestion. We will also learn a protocol to safely navigate a treatment when trauma is presenting itself. Enhancing palpation skills, optimizing the “therapeutic dialogue space” and developing intuition contribute to a treatment that is effective, integrated and “appropriate for the moment".
