About this opportunity
Working grants and long-term grants are available for professional artists in the fields of dance and circus, including dancers, choreographers, and circus artists. Grants can cover periods of one, two, five, or ten years.
Applicants must be professional artists earning a living from their artistic activities and regularly presenting their work. They must reside in Sweden or primarily practice their art there. Foreign citizens can apply if they meet these residency requirements.
Applications are submitted online through 'My pages' and must include work samples. The application period is once a year, with a deadline of 14:00 CET on the specified date. Work samples should not be older than three years and must clearly identify the applicant.
A one-year working grant is SEK 100,000 and is tax-exempt. A two-year grant is also SEK 100,000 per year and tax-exempt. A five-year grant is three price base amounts per year (currently SEK 171,900) and is taxable. Long-term grants are similarly structured and taxable.
