About NextMove

NextMove (joinnextmove.com) aggregates publicly available opportunities in dance, circus, and physical theatre — auditions, residencies, intensives, jobs, and funding — and sends personalised alerts to artists. By using the platform you agree to these terms.

Listings and accuracy

Opportunities on NextMove are sourced from public listings, partner submissions, and user contributions. We aim to present information accurately but cannot guarantee that any listing is current, complete, or error-free. Always verify details directly with the organisation before applying.

NextMove does not guarantee acceptance, eligibility, or any outcome in relation to any listing. We are not a party to any arrangement between you and a listing organisation.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You agree not to use the platform for any unlawful purpose or to upload content that is false, misleading, or harmful to others.

We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms.

Subscriptions and billing

The paid Member plan is billed monthly or yearly via Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing date. You can cancel at any time from Account settings; you will retain access until the end of your current billing period.

Prices are displayed in EUR. We do not offer refunds for partial months except where required by applicable law.

Submitted content

If you submit an opportunity listing or leave a review, you grant NextMove a non-exclusive licence to display that content on the platform. You confirm you have the right to submit it and that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

We may remove submitted content at our discretion if it is inaccurate, misleading, or in breach of these terms.

Intellectual property

The NextMove name, logo, and platform design are our property. Listing descriptions remain the property of their original authors; we surface them with attribution and source links.

Limitation of liability

NextMove is provided on an “as is” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform, including missed opportunities, incorrect listing data, or service downtime.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify active subscribers of material changes by email.

Community reviews & disputes

Nature of reviews. NextMove lets registered users post reviews of programmes, schools, companies and other organisations. Reviews are the personal opinions and experiences of the individual authors. They are not statements, endorsements, or findings of fact by NextMove, and we do not independently verify the claims made in them. NextMove acts only as a neutral host of this user-generated content.

Your responsibilities when posting. You may post a review only if it reflects your own genuine, first-hand experience. You must not post content that is false or misleading, defamatory, abusive, harassing, discriminatory, or that discloses another identifiable person’s private or personal data. You are solely responsible for the content you submit, you confirm you have the right to submit it, and you agree to indemnify NextMove against claims, losses, and costs arising from review content you post in breach of these terms. By posting, you grant NextMove a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute that content on and in connection with the platform.

Moderation. We do not pre-screen every review, but we operate post-publication moderation and may decline, edit-for-policy, hide, or remove any review at our discretion — including content we reasonably believe to be false, unlawful, or in breach of these terms. We are not obliged to host any particular review.

Notice and takedown / right of reply. If you are, or represent, an organisation named in a review and you believe it is inaccurate, unfair, unlawful, or in breach of these terms, you can notify us using the “Report / dispute” link on the review, or by contacting us at the address below. Please identify the review and explain the specific concern. A member of our team reviews every report. We remove or hide reviews that are false, unlawful, or breach our guidelines; we do not remove honest, lawful criticism solely because it is unfavourable. Submitting a dispute logs it for human review and does not automatically hide the review.

Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, NextMove is not liable for the content of user reviews or for any loss arising from reliance on them. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.

Your data & privacy

NextMove is the data controller for personal data processed through the platform. We process account data to provide the service (performance of our contract with you) and we process publicly sourced listing information and review content on the basis of our legitimate interest in running an opportunities directory — balanced against the rights of the individuals and organisations concerned.

If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. This includes individuals named in a listing or review. To exercise any of these rights, or to request removal of personal data, contact us at the address below; we respond within the timeframes required by applicable data-protection law. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and we do not sell your personal data.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which NextMove is established, and the courts of that country have jurisdiction — without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection or data-protection rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
