Applications Open for PhysFestNYC 2027

Caption: Send this post to your favorite physical theater artists, cause PhysFestNYC applications are LIVE! ✨We are looking for Performances and Workshops for our 2027 Physical Theater festival. Tentative dates January 7 - 17 at Stella Adler Center for the Arts, NYC.    Submissions are due on Saturday, July 1st 2026 at 11:59p!    All PhysFestNYC offerings center the body in performance, which can be defined in a MYRIAD of ways. (A reminder that the festival is curated by a rotating panel, so past applications will go through a different set of curators than in past years!)   We also have a new checkbox for PhysFest Introductions! When the curators read applications, they so often see chemistry between various artists who may not know each other. You can now click a box to be introduced to a colleague or two via email if we spot a connection!   We can’t wait to see what you come up with for this year’s festival.
