The Institute for Research and Study of Alternative and Puppet Theatre and Theatre in Special Needs Groups at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (DAMU) focuses on interdisciplinary research of stage component interaction in puppet and alternative theatre, as well as theatre in special needs groups. Its mission includes supporting creative interaction between scholarly research, technological development, and contemporary theatre practices.
