Physical Theatre Intensive: From Training to Performance

An international artistic residency in Csurgó, Hungary, designed as an immersive 3-week intensive for professional artists from diverse creative disciplines. Participants come together to connect, exchange knowledge, gain practical experience, and collaboratively create art, culminating in an open sharing of their creative process with the local community.

Curriculum

The program includes rigorous physical training, improvisational techniques, and ensemble-building exercises aimed at inspiring creativity and offering new perspectives on artistic practice. Key learning areas include exploring physicality in performance, insights into movement direction, and approaches to rehearsal techniques.

Schedule

• Start Date: June 23, 2025
• End Date: July 13, 2025
• Daily Schedule: 7:00–8:00: Biomechanics (warm-up), 10:30–13:00: Practical training, 15:00–18:00: Rehearsal, 19:30–21:00: Creative time.
• Rest Days: June 29, July 6, 2025
