Circus Arts Therapy® Training

Circus Arts Therapy® Training, presented by Carrie Heller, MSW, LCSW, RPT, introduces therapists and circus educators to adaptive activities, including juggling, hooping, and the Circus Arts Therapy® methodology. This training discusses the use of social circus and how trauma-informed teaching, therapeutic language, learning modalities, evidence-based teaching, sensory regulation, cultural humility, behavior modification, and tools for empowerment are utilized in the Circus Arts Therapy® room. Circus Arts Therapy® has helped a wide variety of clients, including those with sensory, attention, and learning differences, and is applicable to neurotypical, neurodiverse, and physically diverse clients.
